The moment you believed you arrived at your destination.
"Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed." Heb 12:13 ESV
We walk like people that have arrived and not ones working toward a destination.
"For you have not come to what may be touched, a blazing fire and darkness and gloom and a tempest and the sound of a trumpet and a voice whose words made the hearers beg that no further messages be spoken to them. For they could not endure the order that was given, 'If even a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned.'... " Heb 12:18f ESV
The place we have come to is not a place of punishment, fear and restriction.
"But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel." Heb 12:22-24 ESV
The place where we have arrived is a joyous place of acceptance where God has perfected all in attendance. It is a place where every tragedy has been turned into a blessing.
Our lameness is healed when we realize we have arrived. Our back becomes straight and we put back our shoulders. Our eyes are not on the ground any more... they are fixed on our Savior.
I am going to start my day believing today. From this moment I will launch out in faith and walk in what is already done.
