True Wealth

If I had 1 million more dollars I would have some options I don't have now. Let's then make it 10 million. Ok, 100 million. But would I be happier? Would I be richer or would life just get infinitely more complicated?

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth. I am a rich man.

How many people who win the lottery lose what was important to them because of it. Unfortunately, most of them do.

Some money would be great. I am going out to make some today. I need things. We all do. I want to have options and security for myself and for the people around me who might need my help. I want to see people go places and present Jesus in places where He Is needed all over the world.

At the same time, I look around me today and realize in a fresh way that I have many wonderful people in my life and God in Heaven who keeps giving me more. One day we will be before Him and get a better idea of what is really in our Heavenly bank account.

100 million won't look like very much and it won't be nearly as complicated to deal with as it would be for us now.
