The Greek word there for 'mixed' is sygkerannymi (Strong's G4786) and it means to blend together until the ingredients became one new organic thing. Like mixing batter or paint colors. Yellow and blue blended and blended until you have a green.
God's promises are wonderful but they will give you and I no advantage unless we know them and blend in our personal trust.
There is an advantage to be had if we find God's real commitments and trust in them.
