Just sitting here thinking about the 'nurture' part of the nature vs nurture idea. What does it mean for a child to have love, mercy and structure? What is the value of that investment? I dare say that there are no perfect parents or care givers but God does work through some folks. There is a nurture that flows from Him and that flow is invaluable. We can only give what we have received. That is what we have in our pockets. We can only lead someone somewhere we have already been.
Jesus came from God's throne and has returned there. He has been to the other side of death's door to places no one has returned from. He loves from the Father's heart of love because He has gathered that Love right from the Father. He can nurture like no one else can.
It is good to also keep in mind that He Is this person...
"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS." - Revelation 19:11-16 KJV
The lion and the lamb.
His nurture has strength behind it.
