"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out." - John 10:1-3 ESV
This says so much to me.
Ministry enters through the gate. Manipulation enters another way and tries to 'steal' an outcome.
I picture the sheep responding all at once to that voice. It is the voice they know. It is a voice I know. People need that voice.
Jesus is the good shepherd. He enters and He owns each place. He goes in the authority of Heaven.
